Will my former wife ever come back to me?  Clark thinks as he walks along the beach with the sun and wind and waves of the sea as his only companions.  “I miss her so much,” he whispers, “so very, very much. . . .”

What does a man do who loves his former wife but knows that love will never be requited?  Clark follows the path of falling into the arms of other women and finds this unfullfilling.  Clark, nonchalantly, asks the heavens for help.  To his surprise he soon finds that the heavens respond: an angel appears first as a pink figurine, then as a man.  And later in the novel another angel appears to assist the first.

There is a woman that comes into Clark’s life, a beautiful woman, a daring woman, a coquette of a woman.  She wants Clark’s body but Clark wants desires to find true love, perdurable love, a love that is pure.

The desire of this woman for Clark, the re-burgeoning desire an angel has for this woman who was his wife when the angel was a human spirit, and the desire Clark has to find true love makes for a very interesting and thought-provoking novel.

ManHeart for your heart.  There are love in its pages, philosophy; sexual desire, and a touch of the divine.

Ronald Coleman, 48, author of ManHeart, studied literature, philosophy and writing by way of several universities. He holds three academic degrees and has studied and practiced Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism, Tao, Bahai, Eastern and Western Philosophy, Islam and Sufism.
